The Company

The Position

This position will develop, execute and manage the company’s strategic marketing plan.

Responsibilities

  • This individual will manage design and production of planned marketing programs by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors:
  • Assists in establishing strategic marketing plans with sales team, to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and executes medium and lower priority marketing campaigns to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share.
  • Help manage marketing budget.
  • Plan and oversee execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade shows, direct mail and strategic alliances to generate cross-referrals .
  • Negotiate contract terms with outside agencies, strategic partners and suppliers.
  • Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns.
  • Manage development, production and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
  • Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Plan and conduct market research to identify opportunities for increased sales.
  • Maintain customer database and approve the use of internal and external mailing lists.
  • Review analysis of marketing surveys on current and new service offerings in order to recommend future business development.
  • Manage medium and lower priority marketing campaigns from creative briefs to creative approvals to tactical implementation to post campaign reporting.
  • Disseminate campaign results and findings to the entire IM/TMA Team.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including handing multiple projects simultaneously; meeting tight deadlines; and reacting quickly and smoothly to changes.
  • B.A. in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, strategic planning and brand management
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to design and craft sophisticated marketing plans
  • Experience in marketing major brands including writing briefs and strategic planning
  • Proven track record in market research techniques and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superior organization and project management skills
  • High level of corporate professionalism, maturity and political savvy
  • Ability to influence all levels of the organization
